About Our Community
Whether you and your spouse or even the whole family are moving in, there are many things to do near your new Sawyer's Landing home. Near by state parks and preservations are just short jaunts away. You can watch wildlife, canoe, fish, hike and even camp. Keeping the nature theme alive, DeLand takes part in many events including the DeLand Outdoor Art Festival. DeLand Florida also has an active historical society, museums and theaters including: The DeLand House Museum, African American Museum of Art, Athens Theatre, Memorial Hospital Museum, just to name a few.
